I wouldn't go so far as to say the beer was amazing — I use that word very sparingly and reserve it for the few that I come across that exhibit truly exemplary beer and an environment that makes me want to stay for hours on end. But that qualifier aside, it was a really great surprise to find such great beer in the most unexpected of places, passing through in the more outstate reaches of Highway 55.
Friendly staff, pretty good beer. Also, an open, warm environment to meet up with a big group of people. If they still have "hammerschlagen," have a couple beers and then go play it.
First timer. Got a growler of the Good Intentions...WOW it was good. It was expensive but well worth it. One of the best IPA's I've had.
If you ever find yourself out in this part of Minnesota, do stop and try their beer. I think you'll find something you'll enjoy. My only regret is that I was just passing through and didn't have the time to sample more of their beer! Next time!
Best greenhouse around. Big and open, yet warm and friendly. Kid and outside food friendly too!

They had a healthy selection of beers to choose from, snacks you can purchase to munch on with your beer, and spacious options for seating.
